Gameday Open Thread: Utah 89, Portland 100 (Postgame)

New, comments

Portland plays a solid game all around, keeping a tired and short-handed Utah at arm's length all night, and finish what can nearly be described as "an easy win", sending the fans home with streamers and Chalupa coupons.

This game was about Wesley Matthews, scoring 30 (on 16 shots!), 3 assists and 2 steals against his old team, but the team was also led by LaMarcus Aldridge (27 points), Marcus Camby (4 points, but 20 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks) and Andre Miller (16 points and 10 assists).

From here, the Blazers enjoy a nice quiet New Year's eve, and host the Houston Rockets Sunday night. Stay tuned for Dave's recap and Ben's Media Row report, and I'll see y'all in 2011. -- Tim
