Blazers Center Marcus Camby Suffers Ankle Injury: X-Rays Negative, Day-To-Day

Portland Trail Blazers center Marcus Camby suffered an ankle injury with 7:26 left in the third quarter of tonight's game against the Utah Jazz. Camby rolled his right ankle while coming down on Utah Jazz forward Paul Millsap's foot as he corralled a defensive rebound. Camby went to the ground in significant pain and was helped off the court.

The Blazers have informed the media via text message that Camby will not return to tonight's game, but that X-rays taken at the Energy Solutions Arena came back negative. Camby is now listed as day-to-day. The Blazers play the Nuggets in Denver tomorrow night.

Update (10:17 PM): After the game, Camby tweeted that the ankle "should be good" and that he "should be back soon."

Camby rolled the same ankle during a Nov. 16 game against the Memphis Grizzlies and left for the locker room, but later returned to the game.

The Blazers were leading 56-53 at the time of the injury. Camby left the game with 4 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 3 blocks in 23 minutes. Here's video of the injury.
