Video: 2010 Blazers Rookies Do The Dougie

The Talk of Fan Fest tonight was the halftime entertainment: LaMarcus Aldridge instructed the 2010 Portland Trail Blazers rookie class -- including Luke Babbitt, Elliot Williams and Armon Johnson -- to dance "The Dougie", a face caressing, side-to-side two-step number popularized by hip hop group Cali Swag District. Jeff Pendergraph chips in with some pre-dance inspiration.

(Here's a link to the song for the uninitiated.)

Elliot Williams's Dougie is hyperactive, befitting his new nickname: Fast Twitch. Armon Johnson's is nice and smooth.  But Luke Babbitt. Luke. Babbitt. Luke... Babbitt.  I'm not sure what Luke Babbitt is doing.

It's safe to say Babbitt skipped prom to shoot 1,500 jumpers in a gym by himself.

Update (10:14PM): Head over to Blazers.com for the courtside angle.
