This award is for the player who upped their game the most and/or had the biggest increase in effect on the team and the game. This may or may not equate to your Biggest Pleasant Surprise player, which is a category below. Sometimes a guy's improvement isn't that surprising even though it's great. Also note that rookies cannot win this award. It measures the difference in performance from last season to this.
