What are you looking forward to?

New, comments

Since this is the season of optimism, let's take advantage!

I don't know about you, but I'm going to enter this coming season with a much more "tingly" feeling than I have entered any season with since we were in contention.  I know the team won't be great still, but this feels like the beginning of something.  I can hardly wait.

So while we're waiting, share what ONE thing you're looking forward to seeing most in the coming year and why.  It can be anything you want, big or small, as general or specific as you like.  Let's see how big and varied the list can get.

Notice, please, that I said ONE.  I'm not trying to be mean. Picking just one is part of the mental exercise.  Even more importantly, these things usually have about 3-4 comments where one is mentioned, then person number 5 goes, "Doo-tee-doo, I can't choose just one, so I'll list SIX!" And persons 7, 10, 14, and 16 do the same.  So now we have 38 things from 16 people and everybody else goes, "Mine's taken...no point in commenting or explaining."  Normally I'm like "Whatever" but for this one I really want to see how many different things we get from different people.  So just list one please.  If you had one you were holding back wait and see if someone else mentions it and then post a comment saying, "That was one of my other ones!"  You'll make a new friend that way. (If you're just bursting with a second or third hold them until the weekend. If they haven't been mentioned by then, feel free to add.)

P.S.  Here's mine:  I'm looking forward to seeing the very first fast-break dunk.  I don't care who gets it or against whom, I just want to see a successful fast break with a monster throwdown.

P.P.S. I had to choose that over another one that I'm just dying to see too. Brownie points to whoever matches my very close runner-up.
