We had this discussion about a year ago but we're in such a different place right now as far as the team and its makeup that I'm curious to see if (and how) opinions have evolved.
We talk about "character" as an integral part of our basketball culture, but what do we really mean by that?
--What specifically are we talking about when we say "character"? In what ways does it show? Are some of those ways more important than others?
--To the extent that we're talking about things off the court, how much do you think those things affect on-court performance? Is there any connection between the two realms and if so, what is it?
--How important do you think character is overall? Is it more important to the Blazers than it is to some other teams?
I'm curious to hear your thoughts.
