Weekend Doings

There are a couple of events this weekend to be aware of.

First is obviously Blazersedge Night at the Garden this Friday.  If you've purchased tickets you should be getting/have gotten an e-mail with final details.

Even if you're not sitting with us, wear your Blazersedge T-Shirts that night to show support and cheer loudly if and when our group is announced on the scoreboard!

Second, you may or may not know that the Wordstock Book Fair, a convention of sorts for authors and writers, is going on this weekend at the Oregon Convention Center.  On Sunday afternoon at 1:00 they are doing a presentation entitled "Blazermania, Past and Present".  Speakers will include Matt Love (author of Red Hot and Rollin'), a Blazer representative (as yet unknown but there are rumors it might be a player), Paul Knauls (former owner of the famed Geneva's club), and I hear there's also a dashingly handsome blogger speaking and sitting on the panel.  If you're not doing anything Sunday afternoon come to the convention center and check it out.

Tickets are $5 for adults, free for 17 and under.  You can purchase in advance from Ticketwest, at Safeway stores, or just get them at the door.

For more info check out Wordstockfestival.com.
