A little darkness in the midst of the light. This from Jason Quick's Game Report
The night's big letdown was Roy, who said he might need surgery on his left heel after he played seven minutes. Roy sat out the Blazers' previous game and the past two practices, and he thought the heel had gotten better. But after it flared up, he said he won't play again until the issue is resolved. The Blazers said he will be fitted for an orthopedic boot for the next seven to 14 days. "I just want to get it done with," Roy said, referring to surgery. "There is still so much basketball left this season, and if surgery is the answer, let's get it done now."
