The Oregonian's Helen Jung came back this week from an extended vacation, having just gotten married (and thus crushing the hopes of Blazer wonks everywhere). She had an interesting post today about the Blazers' latest charity effort, and why it's not exactly as generous as it seems upon first blush. In isolation it's not a huge deal, but since they've already got enough egg on their faces to open a Dennys or two, don't you think they'd be extra, extra careful to make sure their good deeds were going to be seen as such? If you can't get the nice, pure PR things right what hope do you have?
Anyway, it's an interesting read. Find it here.
