How do we bring BIG names to SMALL cities?

There has been ample discussion on how to go about acquiring names like Deron Williams, Dwight Howard, James Harden, and so forth. This old insidehoops thread got me contemplating the reality of the FA Market. (the content of the thread is not worth reading it was just fodder for thought) Aside from $$$, what are some other reasons for a player to uproot from a big market and relocate to the NW long term? What business, endorsement, real estate, lifestyle, etc opportunities are available for them? It made sense for B-Roy and Jamal Crawford as they call this area home. Joel Przybilla also came out of retirement to play for the Blazers after turning down the Heat because he thought Portland was a great place to raise his family. I see a pattern here, but this obviously is not going to attract top stock. Our fans are the best. Why else should FAs come here?

Like all my videos I made this video to get exposure for our team. I do a lot of videos but this one has been the hardest in the making. I've literally had to dissect and log on my own hours and hours of footage, compressing, rendering, animating in the span of 3 days. It took a lot of effort and a lot of patience but since I'm on my own with these things it finally got done.
I felt there needed to be a better LAtoLA video made and I took on the challenge. I will be making more for the LA2LA series but this is the highlight video for midpoint. I made sure not to make it too long and not too boring. I hope you enjoy this and spread the word for LMA.
Watch it, tweet it, share it,rec it and so on. Chances are looking slim for LMA (even though I truly think he should be an all star with the amount of bad luck the Blazers have had) to get in but anything will help. I know it's up to the coaches now but atleast we can say we tried to get exposure.

Welp Blazers just lost against the Nuggets... BUT Here is the highlights video for the Jazz game yesterday (in HD of course). Hard to keep up since it seems the NBA has only scheduled a strict back-to-back schedule for the Blazers. This is easily in my opinion the Blazers best game and most impressive this year. I didn't have as much time but its still a video... also some highlights are in the video from the dreaded Warriors game from Christmas. Enjoy and just forget about the Blazers game tonight (against Nuggets) and remember how happy you were yesterday when they beat the Jazz. I have also uploaded the nervous moments in the 4th quarter (final 37 seconds) and how hard it was for the Blazers to finish the game. That video is here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYSRNFzqxkM
