With apologies to KP, though, if I hear "Rock Chalk, Jayhawk" one more time on the radio today I'm going to poke out my eardrums with an icepick. I mean, come on...is that supposed to be Klingon or something?

I don't know about that

I don't see how Toronto or the Nets would give us Calderon or Harris. Great point young guards are nearly as valuable as centers in the NBA. Chris Paul by himself made Tyson Chandler a 10ppg scorer, and David West an all star.

This draft is a goldmine for quality guards.
I think he's going to package Jack+Outlaw(or Frye)+Lafrenz to NYC grab the #5th pick from them and go for Bayless.

I want Kp to get a late second round pick and grab Tyler Hansbrough though.

Oh and add that 13th pick

I think that is a pretty decent deal for NYC. Alleviates their cap issues, gives them a proper sized point guard, a great 6th man in Outlaw and an expiring contract in LaFrenz.

If you have decent fundamentals this game would have been decided a long time ago. I guess that's what makes college ball fun, I find it sloppy though.

Bad passes, sloppy turnovers, poor execution in critical possessions, putrid free throw shooting.

It's not a case of "they"

it 's one of "him". Calipari kept telling Rose to hold on to the ball and not pass it. Yet Rose kept giving it up early in the count.

I love the way you think. Fake a heart attack and then when they realized it is not a heart attack, you can say it was an anxiety attack. It might get you a few weeks off with FMLA.

I rewatched the game last night

Is it just me, or did Memphis go from the 2001 New England Patriots to the 2007 New England Patriots in just one game? They were oozing arrogance before the game.

Interesting

I didn't see the beginning of the game, but I like underdogs (not that Kansas was one) but I don't feel as bad about the Memphis collapse if they were being jerky.

Turns out my Kansan coworkers were quite mellow today, so I didn't have to fake any illnesses at all.
