Ray Felton Follow-Up
It looks like I struck a chord with this post about imagining Charlotte's Raymond Felton as the point guard of the Blazers' future. Aside from your many comments on both sides of the issue, I got this email from Wendell Maxey over at HoopsWorld.
The Boozer and Chandler deals, respectively.
So, from that reading, it seems like Wendell's on board with my idea, right?
Wrong.
Wendell predicts Charlotte will lock Felton up big time this summer, rendering this whole discussion moot. Read about Felton's contract situation and his thoughts after last Saturday's game over here.
Meanwhile, I predict another 3 months of point guard debates in the diaries.

Let's see if Jordan is ready to pony up
I wonder if we offered him Jack, TO and #13 if he would bite.
I've always thought Felton was the underrated PG in that class. <snark>Except Jack of course<snark>.
That would be an Isaiah move on KP's part
+1
So we are going to throw in Jack, Frye who is one of the better rebounders per 40min in the league (which nobody even knows) AND our 13th pick? I would rather pick Collison instead of Felton and trade Jack for a 08 or 09 1st pick, maybe 15-20th.
It does seem strange that even though here in BE and other Blazer forums Jack is pretty much gone, but the national announcers on TNT love him and other posters from other teams seem to like him. Hopefully no other GM reads BE or Blazer forums as we have been bashing him. He may have some trade value out there and lets hope thast he does.
Where Kyle Korver happens.
Ray Felton.
Not
even
close.
Sorry but Carlos Boozer
Chandler did come after Paul but Paul was good before Chandler was there (16 points 8 assists before; 17 points 9 assists the year after with Chandler).
