I actually have some reflections on the Oden workout article from Sunday's Oregonian but I've decided to save them for an off-day, so we'll just do the Gameday Thread for now.  This has GOT to be a better showing than last night, right?  Although a team that lets Luke Ridnour light them up maybe shouldn't be too hopeful about its prospects against the Wizards.

In any case, have fun with the pre-, in-, and post-game chatter.

He also mentions that Przy got credited for that missing rebound... big props to Joel for tying the franchise record for regulation. Very well done!

This has been a really wild season
It's been fun to watch, and to see them beat all expectations after Oden's injury.

But that said, it would still be a real downer if the rest of the season feels as "mailed in" as last night's game did. It feels like they're hitting the wall right now and are playing out the string.

I won't be surprised if they lose tonight, a "home game" after traveling for 4 games in 5 nights. But the Wizards and Bobcats games? I hope for some improved energetic play.

Putting Travis in the PF spot wasn't a bad move by Nate. The Wizards are a pretty small team, Antawn Jamison is undersized for the PF spot.

Our bench has been crap so moving him from the bench isn't a big loss.

I attended that camp back in '99
Wheeler and Tom Hewitt were counselors then.  It was pretty sweet, I got to cover Jermaine O'Neal when he was playing summer league for us.

I'm now going to continue my ignoring of the game because, lately, when i watch, we seem to start losing  (see the 80-57 when i logged on and the 82-66 while i was watching)
Team OK just has to say that we'll take the lead with no delay. We have the players to keep the pace and in the end we'll win the race.

Nate was slow figuring it out.
He still has difficulty seeing guys as playing particular positions. Joel is the ONE AND ONLY low post presence on this team, at least he was until LMA suddenly figured it out 3/4 in -- and it was CRIMINAL to sit Joel when they were getting murdered like they were.

But Nate finally figured it out.

This was a great surprise after last night.

There's no "why" tonight... it was simple. They were just hitting their shots. It made for the most fun game since... probably the Laker game!

We lost Roy today.
I am very happy that Butler had a horrible game.  Dirty move by him.  He should apologize to Roy.  Is this win worth losing Roy?  Webster and Outlaw were good today.  Jones is a killer.  Pryz is a gorilla.

I really think Nate likes Jack a little too much.  We should be in the playoff hunt anyway.

Its a marathon, not a sprint.

I don't think we "lost" Roy.
He'll probably take a couple games off to rest it, and be good to go.  Just the fact that he tried to go again tonight seems to bode well for a relatively quick return.

And someone break Caron Butler's ankles with a lead pipe.

Us last night or Wizards fans tonight?

It's tough- they at least lost to a +.500 team (granted without our 2 best players), but they are also in a playoff race.  We were facing a division rival though.

I think they are probobly marginally more pissed off.
