B-Roy Interview

Truehoop has a nice interview up with Brandon Roy.  Henry's a Blazers fan of course and it seems like he enjoyed the interview as much as anyone would have.

My one regret, though, is that we aren't quite above the radar enough to merit our very own limited edition Brandon Roy Leatherman.  Seems like a lot of other Blazer bloggers have gotten them.  Ah well...I guess my credibility as the vox populi would be strained if I started accepting gifts anyway.  Besides, Blazersedge is its own reward, right?  Right?

(I know...I can't use Blazersedge to open a Guinness, but go with me on this.)

If there was any Justice, Dave
you'd be the only Blazer Blogger to get one. And we all know that. Of course, there is an extreme lacking of justice in the world, so .  . .

Dave
you can buy them online.  As far as I know, the people who have received them have media credentials.

And how can he get them?
The credentials, that is?  He's filled in for Eric and I'll bet Casey calls on him - and he's been linked to all over the blogosphere.  I can't believe he'd have to be employed by a medium (??) to be given the creds.

And I'd happily donate a couple of $$ to help buy Dave his own ROY Leatherman - and he'd treasure one from us a lot more than a media handout - at least he'd better :-)

I think I'm going to buy a couple for gifts...

lol...
Media credentials would be a waste for a guy in Idaho.

I was mostly teasing about the Leatherman thing.  Truehoop and O-Live are understandably better bangs for the buck as far as publicity than Blazersedge.  I'm happy if they do an interview or two.

Although it's changing
typically press credentials are only given to those employed by newspapers and television stations.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
