Gameday Open Thread: Blazers at Wizards

I think they will come out inspired tonight!  It will be a tougher game- Washington is better than Philly, but the Wizards played last night also.  I think the Blazers can get it done.

If the Blazers can't make opponents pay for trapping, then they'll be getting a steady diet of it.

It'll probably be a better game.

Now Wizards dunk.  11-2.  Timeout Nate.  Struggling on defense.

We have a really hard time when our secondary scorers aren't hitting.  Jack anyone?

Nate's timeout apparently addressed some issues.  They haven't scored since.

Jamison fouled and to the line.

We went inside, then LMA passed to a streaking Trout, who fumbled it and poked it back to LMA, who got blocked but got it back and was fouled.

Lamarcus at the line.  Misses first!  Hits second.

Now Jack travels.

Does anyone else not like Jack down near the baseline?  Has anything good come of having him there besides about 7 turnovers in 2 games?

We just pour points down the drain.

the Blazers are a better team than Washington.  They need to prove it in the 2nd half.

We badly need him to find his rhythm again.

I'll say it again.  The Blazers are a better team than the Wizards.  They just need to play like they believe it.

Ugh.

It's like we can do any one thing well but when it comes to putting two things together it's beyond us.

we look like we don't care.

Now, when the other team throws that ball toward your basket, YOU have to grab the freaking rebound.

Find a way to win this- and I'll call it even on the road trip.

I was going to say we've put ourselves in a position where a lot of things have to go right in order for us to pull it out, but nevermind...it just didn't.

we aren't getting a good game from our stars, haywood is 9 for 9 from the line... this can go in the 'just one of those nights' category.  Totally different from last night.

We are a better team by far than Philly and I still think we are better than Washington.  We just need to play with more poise.

I still believe in this club.
