Secret Plan
"I thought we were going to the Rose Garden, this place says 'Expo Center.'"
On the plus side, it looks like the Mavs could get a good deal on an RV

Hopin' the MO' builds & the PO' is reached
The PTBs could have 3 in a row! Move to .500 winnin' % for the start o' the season. Be 1.000 % at HOME. Gots the Fans behind 'em. Need to play a better game. This is what we have been building our Team for. I am hopin' it happens
ODEN UNDEFEATED AT HOME
In all seriousness, after I saw the Mavs beat Golden State the other night, I knew that we could give this team fits.
They have no one to gaurd Roy just as they have no one to guard Baron Davis.
If Roy can take over this game, and we get some solid shooting from Web, LMA, and Frye, then we're in business.
The Mavs will always give you a chance to upset them. We just have to seize that chance.
I think our guys will be ready to play tonite.
Oooohmm Baba Dunk Ramm GOden
I'm stoked for tonight's game

FT opportunity for przy on ally oop but instead was made to take it out of bounds
Techincal called on portland
A couple of turnovers
Sounds like portland is still playing hard though!
Time out and up by only two now
Still... that's a LOT of quick calls. I've never heard of a clearout before tonight and suddenly i've heard of two in a row.
hopefully the blazers keep their composure, play harder and shove it down the ref's throat with awesome play.
outlaw to JJ
We're back up six! Take that REFS!!!

maybe
41-35 time out dallas
We seem to be unable to pull away but the refs are calling fouls on the mavericks now.
Refs seem to be very happy with those whistles.
blazers playing well enough to be up 15
Defense has been very good, and Dallas has missed some good looks as well.
Agreed
We've been playing the 2nd quarter even. I'd prefer we pull away more, but at least we're not giving ground.
Roy to LMA
Dirk has pass to terry to josh to stackhouse and shotts and MAKES it...dang.
Roy to basket and draws foul by dirk!!!
Roy at the line.
Roy hits first but misses second... darn it.
Stackhouse loves that long shot and nissing
YES!!!!
45-41???
45-39 is the real score with that three. Dallas was given two extra points.
49-42 blazer flavor and end of half
Blazers sound like they're scrapping and the rebounds are GREATLY helping. Dallas gets one shot and if they miss, the blazers get the ball.
They might want to consider NOT taking 20' jumpers. Stackhouse seems to love them and love missing them.
Then again... I love the blazers continuing to kick themwhile they're down!!!
We came out of that quarter ahead one more point.
Good job guys!
What is up with the Blazers' free throw shooting
On a brighter note, I am impressed with the Blazers' D tonight. Especially Martell.
credit where credit is due.
Good job outlaw.
Finally!!!
funniest part was
brandon roy
B-Roy
I haven't been following the game
blazers fortunate to be up this much
Dirk with four fouls
can we make a few of these please?
Webster picks up his third foul. Blazers over limit. Mavsat line.
What is
But Avery Johnson says "What can I do, I'm too small to help!"? Classic.
65-55
Outlaw at line Dallas over limit
Outlaw misses first and hits second.
66-55... dang it but yay for lead.
We're beating the Mavs
I would be if i lived in portland!!!
MAN!!!
34-31 mavs advantage!?
We HAD been ahead in this area.
Jason Terry drives on Pryz and Pryz has to foul.
Terry is at the line.
Wow.... i like stackhouse!!!
Stackhouse comes down the other end and OFFENSIVE FOUL!!!
JJ has ball, pick by pryz and JJ PUTS IT IN!!!
JJ WAS FOULED AND AT THE LINE!!!
Nope... he misses and third quarter ends.
70-57??? awesome!!!
Pryz
very strange game
From the Blazer perspective: "Dallas might have just finished the worst 3 qtrs of shooting they'll have all year. We should be up 25 if we could grab a board or hit a FT."
Should be an interesting 4th. Its Roy time!
WOW
Ugly...
We've held Dirk
ROY FOR THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"JILTED, JADED, JOLTED!"
WHEELS IS THE MAN
I think it's both
They expected a blow out and weren't a expecting a scrappy team to be beating them AND playing tough defense in the first half.
It think we've caught them unaware and knocked them off their groove.
That's exactly
But we need to close this.

Roy hits 2FT's
Maybe the elbow to the head will help with FT?
He makes both!
From now on... players who don't make free throws get elbows to the foreheads.
I'm down

"Portland trying to make it to .500 after that tough road schedule"
Like it's not still tough?
OH!!! Roy had elbow to chin?
Man... Dallas has hit Roy TWICE with elbows in the past minute.
question for those watching the game

90-75
Roy has ball dribbling to JJ to aldridge to jj to roy and three pointer but misses... darn.
Brandon thought it was tipped and he was fouled.
Time out..
mmm victory is sooooo delicious. Let me taste those yummy Maverick tears.
Well
Just gotta pick it up on the road and we have a shot at the playoffs.
I hate to pop your bubble
They're playing hard and that takes energy. They're young so they still need to figure out how to play smart.
They're doing well, but let's keep expectations realistic until we're halfway through the season and THEN take a look at thiings.
People are beating up the blazers or proclaiming play-offs and we're only 6 games into the season.
you haven't popped anything
i suggest you concern yourself with your own expectations.
mine have been on the money so far this year.

Chill, man
Trying to take people's comments in a positive light makes the conversation easier.

True
It's a little difficult to read positivity into a comment when it's subject assumes that I live in a bubble.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Just as I write this, I get busted out of a poker tournament right on the bubble.

Sometimes I think
Best possible solution: You are indeed brilliant. RB also has a point about the shortened rotation wearing out quicker and that these three wins are probably not in themselves more indicative than the three losses last week. Neither one of these necessarily excludes the other.
On the other hand maybe RB really was chewing your behind and has it out for you. In that case why don't you two go over to Oregonlive and call each other really bad names and come back when you're friends again (or after you've gotten banned). (C=

Sounds like a plan!
There were some very negative people during the first three games. I'm going to guess that there are going to be some overly optimistic people following these last three games.
I should definitely wait until the celebrations are done though to be a party pooper and as it was a more broad point, I should drop it into a journal post.
D
Is Dallas getting good looks and just not hitting, or are we contesting some shots?
doh!
Let's not...
There's still 3+ minutes to go. Dallas is the sort of team that could pull a win out. The Blazers need to stay sharp here and keep twisting the dagger.
wow
Totally

Travis played well
Hopefully the new Martell knows how to bounce back from a tough game. We'll need him vs. Detroit.
Martell didn't really play
No worries.
I loved that he hadn't scored, was passed the ball and didn't hesitate and passed to another blazer.
That extra passing ended up with a three and the blazers gaining more of a lead.
Blazers win!!
Now it's time to get ready to beat Detroit.
Way to go Blazers! You guys are the greatest!
This
Instead we're .500 with tons of momentum and I really like our chances against The Pistons, but it will be a much tougher game.
Roy isn't gonna torch Hamilton or Billups like he did tonite.
Yeah
I love that we're .500 right now and that we did it against TWO tough teams!
I noticed we seem to do well against shooting teams. I wonder if this will emerge as a pattern.
Dallas looks kind of old and slow
Take a look at Travis's stats from tonight
10 rebounds
4 assists
3 turnovers
1 steal
Not to mention he did a good job defending against Nowitzki, who had only 11 pts.
This
THE BLAZERS ARE BACK
this was...
If the Blazers weren't going to break the losing streak to the Mavs tonight, it wasn't going to end anytime soon.
Detroit will be a very tough game but what a homestand it will be if we can win that one! It's already an excellent homestand regardless.
Wow
I never dreamed
lol
I'm still picking the Wolves to finish last in the west, though the Sonics are looking like they may have something to say about that.
We have two really good teams in our division, and then possibly the two worst teams in the West as well.
