Thursday News
Joe Freeman gives us a rundown of the new Comcast network. Still no deal with sattelite companies though. Bummer.
TZiller at Ballhype has a rundown of the Northwest Division.
Brian Hendrickson tells us that if Roy plays on Friday Jack may sit. No injuries, just a rest. He also submits a full article on Joel Przybilla's comfort zone.
If you can't get enough Przybilla, I understand there's a piece forthcoming on him in Mike Barrett's blog. It isn't up as I type this but you can keep checking. No word on whether there will be more shirtless pictures in honor of Jorga.
Also you can check out Mike's shiny new blogroll. I was teasing about us not being listed. Now what will I tease him about?

No Lamarcus Aldridge?
I bet dolla's to donuts the Blazers do better than the Kings. THAT'LL SHOW TZILLER.
For a more personal attack, I'll point out Ziller is much more goofy looking than the cartoon version of himself he uses. Plus, he wets the bed.
Mortimer
Aldridge the M.I.P.
So now, even if LMA were just to pick up where he left off last season, the league would be saying, "Where did THIS guy come from?" As a certain banned blazeredge poster would say (with less punctuation), "LMA is the MIP--book it!"
What Mort said,
Oh, and I'm pretty sure Przybilla won't suck as bad.
Oh, and Martell may be a playa this year.
Agree with Mort and Shenanigans
I think it was an inadvertant omission ....
Re: no satellite yet
Here is a much better season preview

The True Meaning of Festivus
In other words: don't take it too seriously, and you might enjoy the unkind words he has had for every other team in the league so far.
Good point
A third-party assessment will never match the completeness or knowledge of someone who follows the team. Where they are valuable is in showing us our assumptions and biases. Even with leaving out LMA and not allowing for the fact that our main scorer last year was probably part of the reason our offense was unproductive Ziller still got in the ballpark as far as total wins and some of the issues facing us. He also reminds us that, despite the era of good feelings, this team still has a long way to go.
You get a more complete and detailed write-up from the bloggers intimately involved with your team but you have to put up with their almost universal optimism. You get a less tainted perspective from people outside the team's circle but you have to put up with them missing some things.
I think both are valuable.
