FREE DARKO INVADES POWELL'S BOOKS!

presented by BlazersEdge

What:  Writer Nathaniel Friedman aka Bethlehem Shoals of the basketball blog Free Darko will discuss his new book The Macrophenomenal Basketball Almanac in an interactive slideshow presentation at Powell's Books, Portland's premier bookstore.

The reading is hosted by the Portland Trail Blazers blog Blazersedge.com and guests are invited to join Shoals and friends for an "after party" of dinner/drinks/Blazers talk at nearby Henry's Tavern.

When:  Monday, February 9th, 2009 at 7:30PM.

Where:

Reading @ Powell's Books, Downtown Portland.  1005 W. Burnside.  Directions.

Afterparty @ Henry's 12th Street Tavern, Portland. 10 NW 12th Avenue. Directions.

Why:  It's the perfect chance for Portland basketball fans to: witness the blogtacular revolution of thought that is FreeDarko, network with local basketball writers, talk hoops, and grab a bite to eat.

What Else:  Copies of the FreeDarko book will be available for purchase.  After party is BYOB (we're bloggers).

RSVP: Email blazersedge@gmail.com with questions and to get your name and/or website added to this page.  Otherwise we'll see you there!
