Shoe companies starting a bidding war over Lillard

9

Lillard can opt out of his Adidas contract after this year. He's gonna get a whole lot of money.

Oden to Start

5

Greg Oden is starting for the first time since that infamous December 5th, 2009 game. Some really mixed emotions when watching that! We could use a healthy Oden right about now :-)

MWP

Here is a man that can ruffle some feathers. A man that can lock down players on the side of the court that often mystifies the current roster. Here is a man that has the coolest name in the game. Here is man that is bat S%^t crazy. Here is a man that can teach TRob and Meyers "I'm gonna close my eyes before I try to block your shot" Leonard, to become bruisers. Here is a man that makes very little, and has value to a contending team that cannot play "D."

Granger?

7

Could Granger be an offseason target? His age and injury history should keep his cost down and Philly is certainly not expecting to keep him after the season (heck I wonder if they will talk about a buy-out). He is older, but he fits Stott's system to a 'T'. Good off the bench guy? http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/232076/Pacers-Acquire-Evan-Turner-From-76ers-For-Danny-Granger

Robinson relieved trade deadline passed without him involved

2

Article by Chris Haynes, Robinson seemed to be really relieved he wasnt traded. Considering what he had to go through, seems normal.

Magic Reach Buyout Agreement With Glen Davis

4

He could help our frontcourt, but we would have to release a player.

Centralized replay coming

5

The NBA is going to an off-site instant replay system (like the NHL).

Minor move to Bolstor the bench...

1

It doesn't help our Immediate big man situation, but as we get closer to the playoffs and when LA and Joel are healthy again we will be using Myers less and less. Kirilenko could add some good defense, and solid veteran play off the bench. Brooklyn should look to tank to get into the lottery...loosing Kirilenko would help with that.
