Dorsey exploded to the tune of 23.8 points per game on 60 percent shooting in the 2017 NCAA Tournament. While the star guard struggled with consistency during the regular season, his stellar play in both the PAC-12 Tournament and NCAA Tournament earned him a look from teams that want an explosive offensive-minded guard.
Brooks was the undisputed leader for the Ducks last season, despite his scoring numbers dipping from his sophomore campaign. Most mock drafts have Brooks as a late second-round pick. Interestingly enough, Portland does not currently possess a second-round selection.
Much like Dorsey, Bell helped his draft stock during the NCAA Tournament. The big man’s season was highlighted by double-doubles that included eight blocks in the Elite Eight against Kansas. Bell is projected as a mid-to-late first-round pick. With Portland’s abundance of wing players, Bell seems to fit the team’s need to improve their frontcourt depth.
