After three quarters of nearly unwatchable basketball from the Los Angeles Clippers and the Portland Trail Blazers in Wednesday night's 2016 NBA Playoffs Game 5 match-up, Damian Lillard decided he was going to be the match to the Clippers' powder keg.
Heading into the 4th quarter, Lillard was a near non-factor before going full blown supernova- hitting 4-of-6 from beyond the arc and 6-of-10 for the period. Ultimately finishing with 16 points in that quarter, and 22 points on the night. His offensive outburst assured the Trail Blazers a victory 108-98 as they now head home to Portland for the chance to close out the series in Game 6.
