In the post-game press conference following his Los Angeles Clippers' Game 4 loss in Portland to even the series 2-2, head coach Doc Rivers addressed questions regarding his team's injuries. Rivers was blunt about Griffin's injury prognosis:
"Doesn't look great for Blake, we'll see that for tomorrow... Blake said he planted and I felt something, we're not sure with Blake yet, he'll get evaluated tomorrow when we get back. He's at 50/50 probably right now (for Game 5)."
Griffin personally confirmed that status to Sean Highkin:
Blake Griffin on chances to play G5: "I’m not sure."

The Clippers are now 7-2 overall (regular season and playoffs) since Griffin returned from a broken hand suffered in an off-court incident, but more importantly an injured quadriceps that was originally diagnosed incorrectly (Griffin declined to say misdiagnosed), and led to a longer-than-anticipated recovery time.
"I don't want to say 'misdiagnosed,'" Griffin said of his injury and resulting workout plan, "but [I] wasn't doing the right things, I guess. We weren't addressing the initial problem, the main problem.
Griffin says in the same piece (from April 2nd) that his quad was still partially torn at the time of his return.
The Clippers star forward said Saturday that his left quadriceps remained partially torn more than three months after it first sidelined him and alluded to the possible need for surgery after the season.
During the regular season the Clippers were 31-16 without Griffin in the lineup. With both Griffin and Paul missing, they were 1-1, with a victory over Utah and a slim loss in Oklahoma City.
Blazer's Edge will post any new information as it arrives concerning Griffin's status for Game 5 or the rest of the series.
