Darren Wolfson of Minneapolis TV station KSTP tweets that several teams are interested in shooting guard Shabazz Muhammad, with the Portland Trail Blazers among the potential suitors:
Newton's first real test: whether to move Shabazz. Hear tonight Blazers, Suns, & Celtics kicking the tires. LAC still too, & more. #twolves

"Newton" would be Minnesota Timberwolves General Manager Milt Newton.
The 6'6" Muhammad is averaging 9.7 points per game this season on 45.8% shooting, but only 27.8% from the three-point arc. He's in his third season, slumping somewhat from his 13.5 point, 48.9% shooting performance his sophomore year. He's making a little over $2 million this year and the Timberwolves have already picked up his 2016-17 option, worth $3 million.
Other than a reasonably nice point-per-minute average, Muhammad has done little to distinguish himself so far in the NBA. He's appeared in 129 games total over three years, this year being the first he's exceeded 38 in any season.
Could the Blazers be interested in Muhammad as a reserve shooting guard or is this just a hopeful GM stirring the pot, hoping a trade proposal floats to the top? What, if anything, would you be willing to give up for Muhammad? Comment below.
For what it's worth, Wolfson also had this quote from Newton regarding point guard Ricky Rubio:
