So I was just looking at contracts across the league compared to our current players, and I've got to say we are getting a BARGAIN all the way across the board. The Batum contract excites me the most because I was pretty skeptical when we gave him those numbers, now it looks adequate, even a steal. Lets take a look at our current players and similar players:

As you can see, all of our contracts are significantly below or right around the average for the contracts of the 4 players chosen at each position. I tried choosing players who were around the same age and production level as our players. It's cool to see how our guys' stats stack up to these others as well. I love the players we have and what we are paying them, however, it'll be interesting to see what kind of extensions we give out as we all know many of our contracts are expiring soon. Obviously Lillard is on a rookie contract, so that isn't the best comparison. But it goes to show how valuable rookie contracts are. This could be a bunch of completely pointless numbers, but its summer and I was bored.
Ed: Promoted to the main page. Thanks for the work, QW!
With that, while looking at the stats and contracts of comparable players, let me know below what you think each of our starters extensions will be worth. (Obviously Lillard and LA will get the max so you can omit those). Also, do you think our starting line up has what it takes to make it to the WCF and beyond? I think we do. Here's my guess:
Wes: 4 years/$38 million (~9.5 million a year)
Batum: 4 years/$54 million (~13.5 million a year)
Lopez: 4 years/$45 million (~11.3 million a year)
