He just got waived by Orlando. Would you guys rather take Mo or Jameer? I would honestly think that Nelson would be the better option because he has more experience starting also has experience giving the ball to a dominate big in a variety of ways(Dwight Howard). Nelson can dribble drive better than Mo at this point in their careers. Also, Jameer isn't a bad 3 point shooter, He got 35% last year while avg. 7 assists and 12 points. Jameer had 2.4 turnovers a game in 32 minutes compared to Mo who had 37% on 3s, avg. 4.3 assists and just under 10 points. But the thing is Mo had 2.0 turnovers in 25 minutes a game. Neither one is significantly better than the other in any category by any means. READ THIS. if you look at both of their playoff career stats Nelson has the edge in most categories by a good portion..
Career Playoff Games & Starts:
Nelson: 44 GP, 39 GS -- 32.5 mpg
Mo: 49 GP, 25 GS -- 29.4 mpg
Career Playoff Percentages:
Nelson: 45% FG, 37% 3s, 79% FT
Mo: 42% FG, 33% 3s, 81% FT
Fun fact... Last year was Williams most INEFFICIENT playoff tenure in his career. He only shot 37% FG, 24% 3s, but he did shoot 90% from FT! Mo also averaged 7.4 ppg last year in the playoffs in 23.5 mpg and only 2 assists compared to his 05-06 season with the Bucks when he only averaged 15 minutes but averaged 2 assists and 7.2 ppg while shooting 50% FG..
