Blazers should avoid getting punched in the face

I am nervous the Blazers will ride too much of a high into the series against the Spurs. If we don't come in with the same gritty energy we had against the Rockets we will set ourselves up for failure. From the reports I am reading in the media there seems to be an idea that the Blazers have a good shot against the Spurs. Even Pop has been laying praise of the Blazers - which scares me the most.

The Spurs want to be the underdogs, that always seems to set up some kind of reverse trap game mentality that works to their favor. I hope the Blazers realize how good this Spurs team is and doesn't think this series will be easier than the one before. They have to be prepared to play harder and smarter.

The Rockets team was skilled, but predictable. The Spurs may be the NBA masters of illusion so I hope the Blazers don't get cold clocked in game 1.
