Spurs v OKC: What this means for the Blazers

I was just noticing how the Spurs are absolutely dominating the Thunder in the series right now. I understand that they could still come back and lose the series, just like they did in 2012. The question I wanted to pose to Blazers fans is: Should the Spurs hold on and beat the Thunder in 4 or 5 games with mostly blowouts (exactly like they did to the Blazers), would that change your evaluation of what we need to do to compete for a title?

I noticed that after we lost to the Spurs, most people were so depressed and saying that this team isn't composed correctly to make a run at a title. Certainly the bench could use help, but people seemed to lose the fundamental trust we had in the team coming out of the Rockets series. Being blown out 4 out of 5 games will do that to a fan base. I questioned it myself. However, the Spurs are dominating a team that most people would agree is one of the most talented teams in the league, so maybe that sheds a new light on our situation. Maybe we don't have to blow the team up or make huge moves. With some significant help off the bench along with internal progression from the starters (Damian in particular will almost certainly get better), maybe this team could compete for a championship.

What do you guys think? Does the Spurs v Thunder series change your opinion of our team or do you still think significant changes need to be made? Yes, the Thunder are missing Ibaka I understand that. Just wanted to know what everyone's thoughts were on the topic
