There seemed to be numerous moments while watching the game last night that I felt Houston's chemistry was made very clear. The biggest one was when LA accidentally hit Lin in the face trying to block his shot. Jeremy was on the floor for several seconds, obviously in pain, and not one of his teammates came over to help him or ask him if he was okay. I thought that was very strange.
You better believe that if any one of our players were to have gone down, all of the Trail Blazers would have been there to help. Then there were numerous times that the camera caught Harden, Beverly and Howard yelling at one another.
It makes me wonder if in fact the Rockets can or should advance with so much negativity and lack of chemistry. Part of the Blazers success so far, I think, is there team chemistry. The Rockets on paper may be the more talented team... but the Blazers have a secret weapon and I hope it is a big enough advantage to advance in this series.
What do you think? Can chemistry and unselfish play carry us and the lack of it, doom the Rockets?
