OK, there is a lot of sqawking from the ROckets camp on how tey didnt play that well and still almost won. Now, I expect them to say that, but the issue, is it true. Well, some interesting thing with the numbers 1. This (meaning game 1) was only the 4th time all year both Harden and Howard scored more than 25 in a game (2-1 before then) 2. They were 9-3 in games which Howard scored more than 25 before this game 3. Only 12 turnovers is significantly below their season average (>16) 4. They had 22 Offensive rebounds, far more than the 12/game they average 5. They had more shots/game than average because of the above 2 (105 vs 80). So while their 3pt FG% was much lower than expected, their overall FG% was lover than avergae (but not different from a typical loss for them, and some of the numbers are not adjusted for Per 48, i think it sates, that this game had some markers o an extraordinary game for them in terms of performance of their stars and many caagories were not far below (or evenm above) their season averages. So while it may make Houston feel better, the stats say this is going to be a long, fun series
