The Easter Story (Blazer Style)

Luke Chapter 24 verses 1-12

The Bible: NBA International Version

1 On the first day of the week, very late in the evening, the Rockets fans took tickets they had purchased and went to the Toyota Center.
2 They found the doors had been unlocked,
3 but when they entered, they did not find a victory.
4 While they were wondering about this three men in striped uniforms that gleamed like bars of a jail cell stood on the court.
5 In their fright the Rockets fans bowed down their faces to the ground, but the Refs said to them, "why do you look for whistles for all those flops practiced by your team?"
6 The victory is not here; The Blazers have risen! Remember how we told you, while we were still with you in the regular season:
7 The Blazers must face the sinners, errrr Rockets, and lose the season series 3-1 but in the first round of the playoffs they will be raised again
8 Then the Rockets fans remembered these words.
9 When they came back from the Toyota Center, they posted all of their whining and lamenting on the blogs and forums and to all the others.
10 It was ESPN, Comcast SportsNet, TNT, and the others who commentated on the game.
11 But the Rockets fans did not believe them, because their words seemed to them like nonsense.
12 Kevin McHale, however, got up and ran to the video room. Leaning closer to the screen, he saw that his team had lost by themselves (since the horrible officiating was equally bad for both teams), and he went away, wondering to himself what had happened.

I hope that brings a smile to a few faces.
Go Blazers!
