Last night's game against the Heat ended in another heartbreaker, as I go through more and more of these heartbreaking losses, I come out the other side a little stronger, a little more resilient as a fan, but one question keeps dawning on me...
Why is it necessary for us to take so many 3's?
We ended the game against the Heat 11/39 on 3 pointers... Less than 30%.
We lost by 2, correct? Yes.
Now let me shine some light on something. Could there have been AT LEAST 2 easier shots on any of those 39 possessions that would have gotten us 2 points? I think yes. Without a doubt. We make those 2 easier shots, in theory, we win the game.
I don't know if Stotts is trying to get us to win by 30 each game, or what, but chucking up 3 after 3 is not going to win us a championship anytime soon.
Rant over. Go Blazers.
