At the beginning of the season, I felt our roster was very similar in talent to the 2013-2013 Warriors (Lillard=Curry, Matthew=Thompson, Lee=Aldridge, Bogut=Lopez, JJack=Mo). We had Nic for which they had no real equivalent and they had Carl Landry for which at the beginning of the season I didnt see an equivalent. We also started out the season playing like them, wideopen, shooting the 3 and little lock down defense. The funny thing is, our seasons are starting to overlap as well. While they had a a rough couple of weeks to start the season, they peaked at 30-17 and were riding high. Then from Feb to mid march the league caught up and some injuries (sound familiar) they go 7-14 over their next 21 and finish April strong at 47-35. Eerily similar. Perhaps what is more concerning, is that this year, they are just as inconsistent, so while this brand of ball is exciting, it is subject to wide swings and no lead is to big and no deficit too large.
So, for the BE fans, get used to the roller coaster, unless we make significant changes in either philosophy or personnel, we just saw the future of this team on Sunday at the MC, and it will be promoting ulcers in all of us for the foreseeable future
