Ok, I must admit that I will relish the Blazers beating the Timberwolves tonight. Every steal, block, every dejected look on Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio's face, will be cherished. I have been looking forward to this game since they beat the Blazers back on Dec. 18th, ruining their amazing road trip and making national pundits chime in on how the Blazers aren't for real.
That being said, I am dreading the chorus of boos that I believe will rain down on Kevin Love when he is announced and enters the game. Granted I am not expecting us to cheer for LA's all-star rival, but a golf-clap would be nice. Why? Well my reasoning is this, we often hear that superstars don't want to play in Portland, no one will sign here, it rains to much etc. etc. K-Love is homegrown, there's a good chance he would consider playing for Portland one day. I just don't think there's a need to be nasty in his home town. Boo the T-wolves, not K-Love.
Spoke my peace, now I will be prepare to cringe when the inevitable merciless booing starts.
