I have a handful of friends who have seen LaMarcus Aldridge around the community (The Mall, Bars, restaurants, ect.) and every single one of them seems to have the same impression. They said he seemed extremely bothered by anyone coming up to him and acted quite rude towards a few of them. Now I know that it must be frustrating for athletes to constantly have the public bother them in these settings especially when you are trying to sit down for a nice meal, but some of these same friends have ran into Batum, Matthews, and Lillard as well with no such harsh words about their attitude. They really seemed upset at how he treated them and they clearly had a different idea of him (character-wise) from that point forward.
I personally have not seen him in a public setting like this but I was curious if anyone had any stories or experiences with meeting LaMarcus Aldridge. We all of course like to think of our favorites players as genuinely nice dudes, but sometimes that is not the case. I wouldn't particularly be bothered by his attitude towards random people walking up to him like this but I was just curious to hear if anyone has had similar experiences. Mostly because I wouldn't want to go around having this bad impression of him if those certain cases were outliers and in actuality he is a nice guy in public and to the fans.
