They seem to play the game through skill rather than physically dominating the opponent and achieve incredible results without much fuss. In a way the game looks as though it comes easy to them. I think this is also why LaMarcus has been called soft before.
Lillard is often referred to as having great poise, and does not even get too excited hitting game winners.
In this way the Blazers reminds of the Spurs. Good coaching, and players know their role. I wonder if Olshey has constructed the roster this way intentionally. It has been talked about matching personalities and playing styles.
Even CJ seems to have that same air about him.
Do you think the team's demeanour is a good thing ? Or do we need some more spark?
Do opponents underestimate the Blazers because of this?
Is this why the Blazers are so clutch?
Do the refs (subconsciously) not respect the Blazers as much because of this?
Is this the reason why the Blazers look so flat at times? (particularly at the start of games)
Do you prefer to watch more flash and highlight plays such as the LA Clippers lob city etc? (sorry if this thought offends some people). Would you prefer a physical, in your face, suffocating defense like the Pacers?
Personally I love our ball movement, player movement and beautiful offense.
Just an observation. What do you think?
