I've been lamenting the loss recently of some of our easier buckets from past years (alley-oops - Batum seems to be the only one who tries them anymore), and wishing that our new guys could learn some moves from ex-blazers. So in that respect, here are a few moves (with videos) of what I'd love our new guys to learn. What's yours?
Add a video clip if you can!
Meyers Leonard: Marcus Camby's ball rotation alley-oop toss from the 3-point line
Thomas Robinson: LMA's (current Blazer, I know) low-post back-roll for the alley-oop (virtually the same play as above) T-Rob is so freaking athletic, he should be feasting on these types of plays.
Damian Lillard: Andre Miller's alley-oop to baseline cutter (used to love seeing Batum or Rudy slash from the corners!)
CJ McCollum: Rudy Fernandez's running pick and roll alley-oop lob. One of my favourite set plays of all time I think (assuming it was "set")
So what do you think? Any plays you wish the new guys would learn?
