I wonder if Robinson can help our current roster more as an undersized four back-up or as a starter at the three.
- Allows Batum to play shooting guard, a position where he can excel offensively and defensively
- A front court featuring Lopez (7.0) , LA (6 11), and Robinson (6 10) would give us a helpful height/rebounding advantage over most teams
- Mathews can come off the bench and provide veteran leadership to the second unit, which could do some damage with their shooting prowess
- Allows for development of Robinson - with his high motor and rebounding, I can see him playing a Jerome Kersey type roll
This is by no means a Western Conference championship contending line up. However, given one or more positive development (Lopez has a career year, Batum thrives at the two, the team commits to playing team defense, Leonard begins to blossom, McCollum is amazing off the bench, Barton and Claver start putting it together, LA and Lillard take their game to the next level) it should make it past the first round of play-offs.
