I understand the importance of having a veteran presence on the team. They help in many ways and I appreciate them. What I don't get is the hype of having a vet that brings playoff experience. I mean, is it that much different than the regular season? Do the vets, who have that badge, gather the rookies and give sage like advise the others can not? It seems like a pompous thing vs. a real difference maker. One might think that having a playoff vet means that the player is real good, but that isn't true at all. I believe Ammo has a couple rings. Anyway, it just seems like bragging rights to me. Please feel free to prove me wrong.
