We know that Lamarcus Aldridge wants to go play in Chicago if he had a choice, and since the Blazers arent looking to trade Aldridge and tank next season. Here is a three team trade that will hopefully work for everyone.
Atlanta Hawks: Get some young talent to added to their core of Teague, Millsap, and Lou Williams (not much of a core, but what does the addition of Al Horford really do for this team. Throw in some possible draft picks, maybe Will Barton and I dont see why Atlanta wouldnt do this. They get a great backup PF in Gibson, a center with offensive potential to put parallel to a center with defensive potential.
Chicago Bulls: The Bulls get the additional franchise piece they need to put together with Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah which would make the Bulls the guaranteed second best team in the West, while only having to give up a very capable backup PF in Gibson.
Portland Trailblazers: We get Al Horford which fits in slightly better with our core as far as age (he is a year younger than Aldridge) He has the ability to play either Center or PF although he prefers PF which he would be able to do here in Portland. His contract is also 3 million less than Aldridge which gives us more flexibility.
What do people think? How could we get this to happen?
