With Dunleavy, Reddick, Evans and other possible targets getting picked up in rapid succession, it looks to me like NO has put his eggs in the Asik or nothing basket.
I do believe he is hedging this by flirting with the likes of Kaman, Pachulia and or other 2nd tier centers with starting experience.
Don't be fooled!
I have been impressed by the idea of grabbing Kaman or Lopez if only to provide a back-up center if Houston wants one of our young bigs in a trade should they win the Dwightmare II sweepstakes!
To me we are settling on Asik, but if we grab Kaman or Pachulia or Lopez it will be our back-up plan to sit still until the trading deadline. Though we may try to bolster our PF unit with an upgrade over JF.
Anyone else sense this?
