T Rob, Chauncey Billups Parallel

Someone posted this link Chauncey Billups Wikipedia on SI's site to Chauncey's Bio, and I thought it was a good read; looking at Chauncey's road to becoming a champion and all-star player. People forget that Billups was taken at #3 in 1997 draft, then traded to 3 different teams between the 1998-99 and 1999-2000 seasons.

I remember being at a Blazer game against Minnesota after Terrell Brandon went down; suddenly realizing that this guy Chauncey was a stud player (he killed us), and telling my brother on the way home that I just couldn't believe how good he was.

I'm not saying TRob is going to be the next Billups, but it does remind you that with the right mind-set and people around you, the ship can be righted and a new course plotted.
