43 years of watching and cheering for the Blazers. Used to go to a theater in Portland to watch the games, it was the only live broadcast they had back then. Spent lots of time at the Coliseum, those nose bleed seats seemed a long ways up at the time. I have seen some great teams and some really bad teams.
Loved Walton when he became a Blazer, hated on him when he left. Talked to him since, he is a nice guy. For me Clyde was the best player we ever had. BRoy is next. Favorite player was Cheeks, he was a Badass at the time. When Allen took over the franchise we thought he would be the Blazer Savior. Well that hasn't worked out quite like we hoped. But he has been a good owner and has allways tried to give us a team that was competive.
Was a fan during the Jail Blazer era. They almost lost me during that time, but it turned out OK. People just need to let it go. The team we have now is interesting. Lots of potential, time will tell which way they go. By the way Leonard will become an Allstar some day. Give him a little time.
Retired now, don't get to go to the Rose Garden. Nice arena I suggest you go if you can. BE is a nice site, l can keep up with whats happening.
Here's to a great season with something to cheer for. Just like the sign says - There is allways something to be thankful for! Well, There is allways something or someone to cheer for with the Blazers!!!
