After another successful NBA draft, the Blazers have gotten some exciting, young talent and the bench already looks vastly improved over last season. The Blazers still have a few spots to fill out, and I think that we should take a hard look at FA guard Chauncey Billups.
Billups would be cheap and would also be a fantastic veteran presence for the development of McCollum and Lillard. Neil Olshey and Billups also have a great relationship from their days in LA and I think that Neil is certainly looking at him as a potential target. He can't play much anymore, so he would be an on the court coach more than anything.
I say once all the dust has settled on our free agency plan (whatever it may be) we scoop him up. Thoughts?
