If Cleveland is serious about trading the #1 and are looking for another core player then offer Batum and the #10. The Cavs get a young, up and coming SF, at their weakest position. I know they are thinking of signing Lebron when he's a free agent, but do they really want to go down that road and have Lebron reject them again?
They already have a center, and Nerlens would sit on the bench for them most of next season rehabbing his injury. Word is they want to make the playoffs next season. Batum can help them now and yet still grow with their young core.
Maybe Batum and the #10 ten isn't enough but there are also rumors they might draft Otto Porter #1 instead. In my opinion Batum plus the #10 is more valuable than Otto Porter. They will be able to draft another big or shooting guard with the tenth pick, to add depth and still solidify their starting five.
The Blazers then can turn around and go after a free agent small forward such as Andre Iguodala or Josh Smith.
