I haven't heard much talk about Andrew Bynum on here, and I know he is coming off a joke of a season where he didn't even play and had a significant knee injury. But would anyone be interested in taking a flier on him in free agency? We could offer him a 2 year contract so it isn't too binding. How much would you guys think he is worth at this point in time? 8-10 million a year maybe?
My reasoning is that we all know that it's very difficult to get top tier talent to come to Portland in free agency, so we need to take risks and gamble from time to time. Personally, I don't think Bynum's career is anywhere near over and he was one of the top 3 centers in the league just a couple years ago. This is the ultimate high risk/high reward type scenario.
Also, kind of off topic from this post. But I am strongly in the, trade Wes and #10 to move up for Oladipo, camp right now. This would give us virtually the same player, but with a higher ceiling, and save us a few million to use in free agency. What do you guys think? This is my first fanpost so take it easy on me. Lol
