Olshey would do best to mimick the spurs

The is no reason to think that Damian and LMA can't do exactly what Tim and Tony are doing for the Spurs. With all the hype going around about trading LMA for picks is crazy. Lamarcus continues to be a top ten forward in the league and if Damian even sustains his level of play from his rookie season, will be considered an all time great at the end of his career.

There are many teams that understand that it takes two to three really good players to get over the top in this league as emphasized by Miami ( wade, bosh, James) or OKC with (durant, westbrook, harden)... yeah I think harden was better than any other of their teammates. Same goes with the lakers, NY, Brooklyn, Boston and so on.

Those executive offices know it takes three highly skilled players combined with seven role players to make a run to a championship. But what's the missing element? Consistency!

LMA, Damian, and Batum all have the capacity to score 25-30 points on any giving night. all three have the capacity to take the Blazers to the big game. Follow in the footsteps of the spurs and let these good characters develop into an outstanding team, good community personalities, and just grow with each other. Give Portland's big three at least five years together without worry of being traded. Build around them for the long haul.

Stop trading away your best players for a CHANCE the next one will be great. Make Damion, LaMarcus, and Batum step up and be that three. Give them the solid bench they need, consistency to play their game, stop any trade rumors, bring longevity to the team and let these players develop as a team and build around them. Let them know that they ARE the focus , they ARE the team, and they WILL get to the big house

These are three talented players with solid personalities and make make great representatives for our community and the Game. This fan, speaking only for myself, would like to get off the roller coaster for awhile.
