OJ Mayo to opt out of deal... Interested?

ESPN Dallas is reporting Mayo will opt out of his deal with the Mavs but would be open to returning to Dallas but wants a long term deal http://espn.go.com/dallas/nba/story/_/id/9186648/oj-mayo-dallas-mavericks-opt-contract ....

In a Jason Quick article the other day Mayo was quoted saying "I love him. Love him dearly." about Blazers GM Neil Olshey http://www.oregonlive.com/blazers/index.ssf/2013/04/trail_blazers_and_free_agency_part_i_will_love_and.html

The Blazers are in need of scorers and Mayo can do that, he gets to the charity stripe decently, shoots the 3 well, has good handles (although he had some turnover problems this season) and is good on the perimeter defensively. I think he could be had for a 3-4 year contract at around $5.5-6mill a year....

If we make a trade for a center that should clear up some cap space to make a move like this, would allow us to re-sign Maynor and go after a backup SF/PF, this team could easily be a 6th seed in the west.... So what do u guys think? Could Mayo fit on this team with a reasonable contract? could we convince him to be our 6th man? If He demanded that he be the starter would Wes work as a 6th man? would adding a veteran guard make it less likely that maynor would want to stick around due to lack of minutes?... sound off in the comments and vote in the poll!
