TNT commentator Charles Barkley got in a few digs at the Portland Trail Blazers at halftime of a Tuesday night game against the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center.
"In fairness to the Trail Blazers, Portland is a great city. But it rains all the time. That's why they already have their bags half-packed for Cancun, playing like this. I love Portland, Portland is a great city, especially Beaverton. Shout out to Nike. These guys -- I bet if you went to their houses right now, they're packed up and ready to go, can't wait for tomorrow night to be over."
The Blazers entered Tuesday on an 11-game losing streak. Starters LaMarcus Aldridge, Nicolas Batum, Wesley Matthews did not suit up against the Clippers and L.A. led at the half, 54-37. The Clippers went on to win, 93-77.
Portland concludes its 2012-13 regular season against the Golden State Warriors at the Rose Garden on Wednesday night.
