I know, I know, it's unlikely that the Blazers make the playoffs this year, very unlikely. But it was also unlikely that they'd blaze 136 points in SA last night, and I for one, believe the Lakers are going to sink rather than swim towards the end. So what if the Blazers do squeak into the 8th seed? A San Antonio match-up is actually better, in my opinion than any other western seed. I don't see SA faring any better than in previous years. Something about their make-up doesn't last over 7 games with the same team. And I am keeping fingers crossed that this team is the Blazers because that would be quite an exciting match-up. After last night, I really believe this scenario, albeit unlikely, would be the most benificial for the long term morale of the team, better than any lottery pick in the draft. Even with Parker in the line-up we'd give 'e a run for their money. Do think the Spurs are just a little concerned about this happening, and what chance to you give the Blazers in such a match-up?
