for the purposes of this post there is no LBJ/Durant to make it interesting. I just got to thinking about how close( or far away) we are from contention and wanted to see if I could fix our team with the addition of only two players. I don't want to pick any top level players because that would be too easy. Here is my solution:
Noah alone would take us a long way. His motor, defense and rebounding would change the look of our team. Add in the defense and ball handling of Shumpert and I think we have the making of a true contender. I'm operating under the assumption that we still have jj and Maynor also.
